Chi mi segue su Facebook, su Twitter e su Instagram probabilmente già saprà che da qualche tempo mi sto dedicando ad imparare e a sperimentare la lavorazione del metallo.
Dopo aver seguito alcuni workshop (e altri ne seguirò in futuro) tenuti da una maestra eccellente, Alessia di Beads and Tricks (blog - FB) ho cominciato a procurarmi tutto il necessario per iniziare ed ho dato il via ai miei esperimenti :) Mi sto divertendo un mondo! Ecco le prime foto!

If you follow me on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram maybe you already know that some months ago I started learning and experimenting metal smithing. I attended (and I'll do it again in the next future) some workshops with an excellent teacher, Alessia of Beads and Tricks (blog - FB), and since then I collected all the tools and supplies I need to start my experiments :) I'm having the time of my life! Here the first photos!

Wow! What an amazing undertaking. I love the look of your work desk. I've always wanted to be a smith myself, maybe with bigger tools and projects like sculpture, but I've never gotten around it. Your post and your work got me really inspired to pursue my own craft. Thank you for sharing the pictures! More power to you and your ventures!

I’m glad that you pursued metal smithing. That would be very helpful, especially for your jewelry projects. It’s been a while now, and I hope you’re still using those lessons learned to make more items for your Etsy shop. Anyway, I’ll be looking forward to more of your smithing classes.
