If you follow me in my social networks (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, links at the end of the post), you know that I'm going on with my experiments with brass, hammer & co., with big satisfaction :)
Finally I updated my Etsy shop with two new earrings: "Taormina" and "Salento".
Inspiration comes from Summer, and in particular by some beautiful seaside places in Italy, like "Taormina",  the wonderful small town in Sicily, and the beautiful "Salento", in Apulia ("Puglia" in Italian). They are two pair of boho chic earrings which will remind you of sunny beaches, sea breeze, fascinating sea creatures, and soft sand under your feet in a Summer day during your vacations.

Orecchini "Taormina".

"Taormina" earrings.
Ethnic square earrings handmade by me with the metal smithing technique: I cut, hammered, darkened with fire and finished the brass; I made the earrings hooks as well, with brass wire. Then I assembled the pieces with two gorgeous teal green irregular glass beads with a touch of sand, handmade by a super talented artist from Slovakia, and with two tiny glass seed beads in bronze color.
Earrings total lenght (hook included): about 6 cm (about 2.4 inches)

Available here on Etsy.

Orecchini "Salento".

"Salento" earrings.
Ethnic geometric earrings handmade by me with the metal smithing technique: I cut the brass in the shape of two irregular trapezoids, I hammered, darkened with fire and finished them; I made the earrings hooks as well, with brass wire. Then I assembled the pieces with two starfish Greek beads made out of copper covered with green patina. They are Summer, nautical and seaside inspired.

Earrings total lenght (hook included): about 5 cm (about 2 inches)
