Xmas is coming: Peppermint macaron recipe

Buongiorno! Eccoci con una ricetta golosa e natalizia: i macaron peppermint! Avete presente i bastoncini bianchi e rossi, leccalecca che a volte vediamo appesi anche all'albero di Natale? Ecco, questi macaron sono ispirati a loro :) io non ho provato a farli, ma spero di riuscire durante questo mese, seguendo questa ricetta.

Risponderò a mail e commenti, ma intanto... voglio mostrarvi questo delicatissimo video, una piccola meraviglia. E' la ricetta di una crostata alla marmellata di fragole, ma è molto di più! Homemade Baci di Dama and... colorful flowers ♥

Domenica mia mamma (che è una cuoca provetta!) si è cimentata nei Baci di Dama, dolcetti originari del Piemonte. Sono venuti giganti, e buonissimi! Il sapore e la consistenza della ricetta che ha usato sono un po' lontani dai veri Baci, ma che c'importa? Erano squisiti!
La ricetta è stata trovata su un vecchio numero cartaceo di Cucina Italiana (qui il sito), ma potete trovarne una spiegata passo a passo e molto chiaramente qui. La prossima volta useremo questa :)

Last Sunday, my mum (so good in cooking!) baked Baci di Dama, sweets typical of Piemonte, an Northern Italy region. The taste and the consistency of the recipe she used were a little far from real Baci, but who cares? They were delicious  and sooo yummy ;D
Unfortunately I have the recipe only in italian, and I haven't time enough to translate it (sorry!)... maybe one day!

E ora... non ho resistito e ho fotografato l'esplosione di colori sul nostro balcone... mettono di buon umore, vero?
And now... I can't help taking some photos of the color explosion on my balcony... it let me be in a good mood!
