ITA  E' un bel po' che ho in mente questo post, e dopo parecchio tempo passato su Polyvore alla ricerca dell'outfit giusto, finalmente ce l'ho fatta!
Mi spiego meglio: nel momento stesso in cui ho visto questa bellissima clutch di Pretty in Mad ho saputo che ci avrei costruito intorno un bel set/outfit per la rubrica "Style tips - consigli di stile" di questo blog. Chi mi segue da un po' sa quanto io mi diverta su Polyvore nel creare set per abbinare i miei gioielli ad abiti, accessori, situazioni, e amo anche inserire altre creazioni handmade di colleghi artigiani/designer, italiani ed internazionali :)

Per caso vi sto rompendo le scatole con i Cenote Bracelets? No perché se siete stufi dovete dirmelo! ;) Però a me piacciono così tanto che vi ripropongo la versione in verde smeraldo, in un modo nuovo: suggerendovi due diversi "outfit" (che ho creato su Polyvore) con cui abbinarlo :) Uno da giorno, più sportivo, in cui si può osare l'abbinamento di due stampe diverse (e due colori che insieme amo alla follia: l'emerald e il mint) e uno da sera, elegante ma sempre coloratissimo. E se lo scegliete per un party sulla spiaggia... rigorosamente a piedi nudi! 
Quest'anno sembra esplosa la "tropical print" mania, ovvero la moda per le stampe a tema tropicale... non so voi, ma io l'adoro! Quindi ecco le mie proposte estive, fresche e giovani, per il bracciale Cenote in verde smeraldo della Gypsy collection. Lo trovate nel mio shop Etsy e presto anche su ALittleMarket!

Ok, I adore my "Cenote" bracelets. Maybe you're a little tired of them, but today I want to show you these night&day outfits I created on Polyvore for the emerald green version bracelet. The day outfit is easy and comfy, and you can hazard a combo of two different prints (and a color combo I really adore: emerald and mint). The night outfit is more elegant, but really colorful. And if you choose it for a beach party... you need to wear it with bare feet! 
This season, fashion is overwhelmed with the tropical print mania. Do you like it? I surely do! So, here my fresh and young outfit suggestions for the Cenote bracelet in emerald, from Gypsy Collection. You can find it in my Etsy shop and soon on ALittleMarket too.

Cenote bracelets {Gypsy Collection S/S 2013}

Cosa significa "Cenote"? Da Wikipedia: "Cenote è il nome dato in America Centrale e Messico meridionale a un tipo di grotta con presenza di acqua dolce. Il nome deriva dalla parola Maya dz'onot. Attualmente il termine è usato anche per descrivere fenomeni carsici simili in altre nazioni come l'Australia, dove sono semplicemente chiamati sinkholes e contengono profondi laghi di acqua dolce con trasparenza cristallina che attirano speleosub da tutto il mondo". E ancora "Cenote allo stadio di maturità sono simili a piccoli laghi circolari o lagune con cascatelle ai margini". Insomma, sono come delle piscine naturali con acqua trasparente dalle sfumature che vanno dal verde smeraldo al verde acqua, dall'azzurro al blu profondo... dei veri e propri paradisi! Perché questa introduzione? Perché sono proprio i cenote ad avermi ispirata per creare questi bracciali della Gypsy collection. Un castone in vetro verde smeraldo o verde lattementa, che richiama tuffi in laghi esotici nelle cui acque si rispecchiano l'azzurro del cielo e il verde della rigogliosa vegetazione, tripla catenina in ottone anticato e perlina finale dorata, in vetro sfaccettato. What's a cenote? From Wikipedia: "A cenote is a deep natural pit, or sinkhole, characteristic of Mexico [...]. Especially associated with the Yucatán Peninsula and some nearby Caribbean islands, cenotes were sometimes used by the ancient Maya for sacrificial offerings. The term derives from a word used by the low-land Yucatec Maya, "Ts'onot" to refer to any location with accessible groundwater". And besides: "Cenotes are surface connections to subterranean water bodies. The best-known cenotes are large open water pools measuring tens of meters in diameter, such as those at Chichén Itzá [...]. The term cenote has also been used to describe similar karst features in other countries such as Cuba and Australia. Cenote water is often very clear". Why this long introduction? Because I've been inspired by these wonderful cenotes for these bracelets! An emerald green or mint green glass stone, which reminds you dives in exotic lakes, where the blue sky and the luxuriant vegetation mirror; a triple antiqued brass chain and a final golden faceted glass bead. Siamo in un deserto, a bordo di una jeep o in groppa a un animale fidato (un dromedario? un cavallo? un asino? Scegliete quello che vi sta più simpatico) sotto il sole a picco, impolverati, madidi e assetati... all'improvviso, davanti a noi appare una visione: acqua limpida e fresca che gorgoglia e zampilla dalle rocce. Sogno o realtà? Miraggio, o oasi?
Perle in vetro, un perla di fiume, ottone, un ciondolo a forma di triangolo: il bracciale "Mirage" fa parte della collezione Gypsy P/E 2013. E' disponibile nei miei negozi Etsy e ALM.
