New yummy cupcakes, preview

Chi mi segue su Facebook li ha già visti ieri sera... questi dolci cupcakes sono i nuovi arrivati in casa PetiteFraise: ho voluto sperimentare uno stile più "fumettoso" e meno realistico del solito, e devo dire che mi piacciono molto! Sono realizzati in fimo, modellati completamente a mano senza l'uso di stampi. Verranno montati come bracciali e collane, al più presto vi mostrerò il risultato. Cosa ne dite? Vi piacciono? :)

Those who follow me on Facebook saw them yesterday... these sweet cupcakes are the new born: I wanted to experiment a "comics" style, less realistic than my usual cupcakes, and I must admit I really like them! They are handmade out of fimo (polymer clay), without using any molds. They will be assembled as bracelets and necklaces (soon I'll show you the result). What do you think about them? Do you like them? :)

Incredibile! Dopo quasi un mese torno a scrivere sul mio povero blog abbandonato! Avevo un sacco di post in mente, ma lo studio mi ha tenuto lontana da qualsiasi cosa. Finalmente ho finito gli esami della sessione invernale, ho passato tutti quelli che ho dato, e posso tirare un attimo il fiato.

Così, eccomi a mostrarvi le mie ultime novità!

Questi sono parte dei nuovi cupcakes, modellati in fimo da me. Diventeranno bracciali, orecchini, collane... le fettine di frutta, lo devo ammettere, non sono opera mia (tranne i mirtilli!): non ho proprio il tempo di mettermi a fare le murrine, ma siccome mi piace molto utilizzarle per decorare i dolcetti, ne ho comprata qualcuna che poi taglio a fettine e uso come decorazione. Spero, prima o poi, di trovare il tempo di farmele da me: la soddisfazione sarebbe maggiore, e il mio portafogli ringrazierebbe! ;D

Finally, after a month, I can write again on my poor blog! I had my exams, and fortunately everything went good, and now I can rest for some days.

So, now I can show you some news!

These are five of my new cupcakes, handmade by me out of polymer clay. I admit, the slices of fruit aren't my work, because I really don't have time enough to make fruit canes, so I bought some canes, I cut the slices and I used them as decoration. I really hope to find some more time to make them by myself, I think it would be a bigger satisfaction, and most of all I'd save some money! ;D

Ieri ha nevicato anche qui! Che bella la neve :)

I giorni che precedono il Natale sono sempre i più intensi: mille cose da fare, tante corse per i regali, per finire le commissioni, strade intasate dal traffico, centri commerciali e negozi strapieni, nervosismo a mille eccetera eccetera. So che tutti potete capire :)

Ogni tanto, però, cerco di trovare un po' di tempo da dedicare a questo mio spazietto: lo trascuro troppo, lo so, c'è tanta polvere sulle mensole e ragnatele negli angoli, ma qualche volta torno per spolverare e salutarvi!

Vi mostro due superstiti del mercatino di domenica scorsa 13 dicembre a Vimercate (MI) -che tra l'altro è andato benissimo...grazie a chi è passato a salutarmi!

Con questo freddo glaciale, mi manca solo di vedere gli orsi polari, e una tazza di té in loro compagnia non mi dispiacerebbe! Ma solo con gli orsi polari simpatici, come quelli di questi due bracciali :D

Ho unito charms in fimo (fatti a mano da me!!!), in metallo e perline :) Vi piacciono?

These are busy days: Christmas is coming and it's a stressing period.

With this freezing cold, just polar bears are missing here :D And I think it would be perfect to have a cup of tea with some of them! But just with the funny ones, like those of these bracelets :)))

Un'anteprima...qualche pasticcino! ♥ A preview..some pastries

In questo periodo sono letteralmente sommersa dagli ordini di Natale, e dalla preparazione del mercatino che si terrà il 13 dicembre a Vimercate (MI) -a proposito, siete tutti invitati!
Però riesco (devo!) trovare il tempo anche per creare qualcosa di nuovo, di cui ho voglia IO, sennò finirei per odiare questo mio hobby che è cominciato per passione e vorrei tanto rimanesse tale...visto che ultimamente, più che creativa mi sento una macchina che produce in serie! (Ma so anche che ogni tanto, per accontentare chi ama i miei lavori e mi chiede di riproporre vecchie creazioni, devo scendere a compromessi!).

Ecco perché ho realizzato questi ciondolini che vedete in foto. Sono (quasi) novità -i pasticcini li avete visti nel post precedente- ed era da tanto che volevo proporli o riproporli. Sono piccolini (circa 2cm), sono in fimo e totalmente fatti a mano da me come sempre, senza stampi. Una volta montati saranno con me al mercatino di dicembre :)

Anyway I can (and want) find the time to make something new, that I like to do.

This is why I made these tiny charms. They are news (even though similar pastries were on the previous post). They are tiny (about 2cm), made of fimo (polymer clay), completely handmade by me without molds. They will be with me on my next fair :)

Fruity bracelet!

Finally I can write on my blog! These days are very busy: I have so many projects, and I'm crafting a lot! So I hadn't time enough to post.

My DaWanda shop is growing, and I had to thank all my supporters that buy my craft!

I also have a big project about my Etsy shop: I want to renew it completely. But I can't say more, this will be a surprise =)

In the meantime, I show you one of my newest creation available in my DaWanda shop: the Tuttifrutti Bracelet! I made the fruit charm in fimo (polymer clay), and varnished them after baking. I like it so much! I'm particular proud of the peach: I never made it before, but I'm very satisfied with the result!

Finalmente posso tornare a scrivere sul mio blog! Questi sono giorni molto impegnati: ho moltissimi progetti, e sto creando davvero tanto. Perciò non ho abbastanza tempo per postare, anche se mi manca il mio blog, e anche i vostri!

Il mio negozietto DaWanda sta crescendo, e devo ringraziare tutti i miei supporter che continuano ad acquistare le mie creazioni!

Ho anche un gran progetto per quanto riguarda il mio negozietto Etsy: voglio completamente rinnovarlo. Ma non posso dire di più, sarà una sorpresa! =)

Intanto, vi mostro una delle mie ultime creazioni disponibili nel mio DaWanda: il braccialetto Tuttifrutti! Come al solito gli charms fruttati sono modellati in fimo da me, senza stampi, e lucidati dopo la cottura. A me piace moltissimo! Sono particolarmente orgogliosa della pesca: non ne avevo mai fatte prima e sono proprio soddisfatta di come è venuta!

So, I made some milky inspired creation!

E ora... vi piace il latte? A me sì, tantissimo!

Così ho fatto qualche creazione ispirata proprio dal latte...

First, this is a very simple necklace, with a milk carton made of fimo (polymer clay) and handpainted by me with acrylic colours.

Per prima cosa, questa è una collanina molto semplice, con un cartone del latte in fimo e dipinto a mano da me.

Second, a cute and kawaii cell phone charm! Here I added also a light-blue star and a white bead, both made of resin.

Poi, questo simpatico ciondolo per cellulare! Qui ho aggiunto anche una stella e una perlina bianca, entrambe in resina.

Finally, this is a cell phone charm for a friend who loves the Milk in the Blur's song "Coffee and Tv".

Finally something for me.

Hello friends!

Sorry, in these days I'm always busy and I can't follow my blog as I want.

Anyway, my business with my DaWanda shop are going well! I'm not very fast so it happens that I sell some items before I can upload here or on Flickr the new photos. So have a look there on DaWanda and you can find new products! =)

But now I just want to show you something I recently made for me. Just for me! I usually create bijoux for my shops, fairs, for my friends, or for orders. Sometimes I need to create something for me!

Scusatemi, ultimamente le mie giornate sono molto impegnate, e così non posso seguire il blog come vorrei.

In ogni caso, i miei "affari" con il mio negozio DaWanda stanno andando bene! Non sono molto svelta, così capita che alcune creazioni vadano vendute prima di poter caricare le foto qui o su Flickr. Quindi se avete voglia, ogni tanto andate a dare un'occhiata sul mio DaWanda e potrete vedere sempre nuove cose! =)

Ma ora voglio mostrarvi qualcosa che ho fatto recentemente per me. Solo per me! Di solito creo bijoux per i miei negozio online o per i mercatini, per le amiche, o per degli ordini. Ma qualche volta ho bisogno di creare qualcosa anche per me!

For example, this is a bracelet I made last week, with three heart shaped metal charms.

Per esempio, questo è un bracciale che ho fatto la scorsa settimana, con tre charm in metallo a forma di cuore.

The following is a "parure" (set) that I made for me for the New's Year Eve party! The pearl blue beads are made of fimo (polymer clay), the other silver plated beads are made of metal.

This set was perfect for my dress! It includes earrings, bracelet and pendant.

Questa invece è la parure che ho fatto per capodanno. Le perle blu perlato sono in fimo, ed ho usato anche delle perle in metallo in stile un po' "celtico".

Questa parure era perfetta per il mio vestito! Comprendeva bracciale, orecchini e ciondolo.

And now, a photo of the S. Anthony's tart my mum cooked last week for the S. Anthony's Day!

E ora, la foto della crostata di S. Antonio che mia mamma ha cucinato per il giorno di S. Antonio settimana scorsa!

Finally, yesterday I found out my new addiction. I was surfing the net, and I discovered the Sylvanian Families. This is a series of collectionable toys with a lot of adorable animal families, with houses, furniture, and a ton of amazing accessories! Having a look in the website I also remembered that as a child I had a character of them! Now I definetely fell in love with this awesome world, and I do want some of characters and furniture. I really suggest to have a look to the website, I'm sure you'll adore them!

E infine, ecco la mia nuova passione. Stavo navigando su Internet, quando ho scoperto il sito Sylvanian Families. E' una serie di giocattoli da collezione con tante adorabili famiglie di animali, con bellissime casette, innumerevoli mobili e infiniti accessori. Curiosando nel sito (ora lo so a memoria!) mi sono anche ricordata che da bambina possedevo un baby personaggio (non mi ricordo quale, ma mi ricordavo benissimo la culla verde e il biberon, che di sicuro avrò ancora da qualche parte!). Ora sono definitivamente innamorata di questa serie, e voglio assolutamente comprare qualcosa. All'inizio pensavo la vendessero solo all'estero (il sito è inglese, e il negozio vero è a Londra; mentre sono prodotti in Giappone) però pensando che da bambina io avevo uno di questi giochi mi è venuto il dubbio che li vendano ancora in Italia. Poi parlando con mia mamma e facendole vedere le foto su Internet, mi ha detto che dalle nostre parti c'è un negozio che li vende! Oggi vado a dare un'occhiata =)

Questa che segue è la mia famiglia preferita, ma sono tutte bellissime e scegliere è arduo. La foto non è mia ma appartiene a Magw21.

Finally I can upload some new photos - I haven't had so much time recently, but now that I finished my exams I have more time to dedicate to my creations!

Finalmente riesco a caricare qualche nuova foto - non ho avuto molto tempo recentemente, ma ora che ho finito i miei esami (l'ho deciso io...ero stufa di studiare, così ne ho rimandato uno!), ho più tempo da dedicare alle mie creazioni!

Starry Night Matryoshka, new Etsy listing!

Hello!!!!

Yes, I know I should study for my exams, but in this period I have so much inspiration!

And besides I'm very excited because this afternoon I'll create with a friend of mine =)))

But now........ I'me very proud to show you my favourite Matryoshka, my masterpiece (anyway...I think so! =P I like her so much!).
You can find her on my Etsy shop.

She is a very cute charm! Her name is Starry Night Matryoshka (I've been ispired by the famous paints of Vincent Van Gogh). She's a pearl blue Matryoshka (a Russian Doll); the body is made of FIMO (polymer clay); the eyes, the hair, the mouth and the golden decorations on her body are handpainted by me with acrylics with love and care! It is varnished with a special gloss lacquer for polymer clay after baking. It mesures about 2,7cm, hook included.



You can hang it on a bracelet, necklace, mobile, bag or anything else!

Matryoshkas love! And a blog featuring ^.*

Hello everyone!

I'm very happy because the swap I made for Laura (fraeulein 2eck on Flickr) is arrived to its new home, and Laura love it!

She asked me two pair of earrings: Red Apples earrings and Tea Time earrings! Then I added two little surprises: two English Tea bags and a Green Apple cell phone charm! I'm very happy she likes them, and she speaks about me on her blog, HERE! =D
These are the photos I made before sending the swap.

But now...

I must confess: I'm completely in love with Matryoshkas. Those Russian dolls are adorable! So... I thought, some months ago, that I could make them by myself with polymer clay!
