Sono tre giorni che piove senza interruzione. Oggi, poi, è stata proprio una giornata da stare chiusi in casa, con la luce soffusa dell'abat-jour, un libro in mano, in sottofondo una playlist pensata apposta per la lettura (QUI)... vi piace leggere? Cosa state leggendo al momento? E qual è il vostro libro preferito di sempre?

Per quanto mi riguarda:

1. Adoro leggere :) mi fa immergere in mondi sconosciuti che non potrei mai visitare altrimenti... mi piace scoprire via via i personaggi, capire come e perché agiscono, approvare o disapprovare le loro scelte, entrare nella loro vita.

2. Al momento sto leggendo "Bright Star: la vita autentica di John Keats" di Elido Fazi, edito da Fazi Editore, libro che parla appunto del famoso poeta appartenente al Romanticismo inglese. Mi sta piacendo molto, è scorrevole e scritto bene!

3. A dire il vero, non ho UN libro preferito: ce ne sono tanti che ho amato tantissimo e a cui sono legata! Tra questi: "Il Piccolo Principe", "Il Signore degli Anelli", la saga di Harry Potter, "Inés dell'anima mia" (Isabel Allende), "La Vergine Azzurra" (Tracy Chevalier), "Momo" (Michael Ende), "Nessun Dove" (Neil Gaiman)... questi sono solo alcuni!

Sono curiosa di sapere le vostre risposte!

This weekend has been a very rainy one. Today, in particular, it was a perfect day to stay at home, with a book in the hands, and as background a music playlist perfect for reading (HERE)... do you love reading? What are you reading at the moment? And what is your favourite book?

Talking about me...

1. I adore reading. It's a fantastic way to plunge into those unknown worlds I can't explore in any other way... I love meeting the characters and enter their lives.

2. Now I'm reading a biography about John Keats, a Romantic poet, by an italian author (Elido Fazi: he's also a publisher).

3. To tell the truth, I haven't ONE favourite book. There are many books I love. Among them: "The Little Prince", "The Lord of the Rings", the Harry Potter saga, "Ines of my soul" (Isabel Allende), "The Virgin Blue" (Tracy Chevalier), "Momo" (Michael Ende), "Neverwhere" (Neil Gaiman)... just some of them!

I'm curious about your answers :)

Buona domenica e buon Halloween a tutti!

Si sa, Halloween non è una festa italiana, ma a molti (me compresa) piace festeggiarla ugualmente! Chi di voi si divertirà all'insegna del "dolcetto o scherzetto?" stasera? E da cosa vi vestirete? Io sarò Ofelia, l'infelice innamorata di Amleto, grazie a mia mamma che mi ha cucito il vestito riciclando un vecchio lenzuolo e trasformandolo con le sue mani d'oro! Io invece ho creato la coroncina di fiori... non vedo l'ora arrivi stasera! ;)
