Hello blogworld!

Today I'm back with my "Artists I Love" section, and the great featured artist is Eva from ChiliCrab.

When I saw her work the first time I just thought: "Wow!". Yes, her art is really amazing, and stunning.

She uses polymer clay -like me- but in such a different way. I can't understand how she can work on such small pieces of clay, it's unbelievable!

Oggi torno con la mia rubrica "Artists I Love", e la grande artista di cui vi parlerò è Eva da ChiliCrab.

Quando ho visto i suoi lavori per la prima volta ho pensato solo "Wow!". Sì, la sua arte è davvero sorprendente, se non addirittura sbalorditiva!

Il materiale che usa è la pasta sintetica -come me- ma in un modo molto diverso. Non riesco ancora a capire come possa lavorare pezzi di pasta così microscopici, è incredibile!

Chocolate Dreams Ring

Eva is constantly into crafts for more than 6 years now. First she just wanted to keep her fingers busy, but very soon the idea grew to build something unique. She finally found the medium that fascinates her until now – polymer clay!
Every dot, rose, leave, bud is hand sculpted by her one after the other. Some of them are even smaller than 1 mm! It makes her jewelry delicate and precious and special, don't you think? She uses also Swarovski rhinestones to make them sparkling and glamorous. They are all one-of-a-kind.

Eva è immersa costantemente nel mondo creativo dell'artigianato da più di sei anni. Inizialmente aveva solo bisogno di tenere le mani occupate, ma ben presto il desiderio di creare qualcosa di unico è cresciuto in lei. Ha così trovato il materiale che tanto l'affascina e di cui fa uso ancora oggi: la pasta sintetica!
Ogni pois, rosa, foglia, bocciolo è modellato a mano da lei, uno dopo l'altro. Alcuni sono addirittura più piccoli di 1mm! Tutto ciò rende i suoi gioielli delicati, preziosi, speciali, non credete anche voi? Usa anche brillantini Swarovski per renderli "sbrillucicosi" e affascinanti. Sono tutti pezzi unici.

Last week I "lived" in the library, studying, and I also worked, so I wasn't be able to follow my and your blogs (but I answered to your comments on the last post! ^^). Sorry. Besides, In the last few days life gave me some bad surprises and now I'm feeling blue... so creativity is suffering for that.


Anyway, last week began well for my craft and I started some new projects. I just want to show you some anticipations!
I decorated this "glass drops" bought months ago with fimo (polymer clay). They are really tiny: just about 1cm!!! I have some ideas about how using them, but I won't tell you now, you'll see soon or later...that's a surprise!

Ciao mondo blog!
La settimana scorsa ho praticamente vissuto in biblioteca, studiando, e ho anche lavorato, quindi non ho potuto seguire il mio e i vostri blog (in ogni caso ho risposto ai vostri commenti del post precedente!^^). Perdono! Inoltre, negli ultimi giorni ho avuto qualche brutta sorpresa e ora sono un po' abbattuta...e anche la mia creatività ne risente.

Comunque, la settimana era cominciata bene per le mie creazioni: ho iniziato qualche nuovo progetto (oltre a dedicarmi ai vari ordini). Vi voglio mostrare una piiiiiiccolissima anteprima!Ho decorato queste "gocce di vetro" comprate mesi fa con il fimo. Sono davvero piccole: solo circa 1cm! Ho qualche idea su come usarle, ma non ve lo rivelerò ora, lo scoprirete prima o poi... è una sorpresa!

Finally...new Matryoshkas Pendants!

Finally, as I promised, I show you great news on my creative world!
These are new necklaces with Matryoshkas made of fimo (polymer clay), handpainted by me with acrylic colours and varnished after baking. Very soon on my Dawanda shop.

Finalmente! Come ho promesso, vi mostro una grande novità nel mio mondo creativo!
Queste sono collanine con Matryoske modellate in imo, dipinte a mano da me con colori acrilici, e lucidae dopo la cottura. Prestissimo saranno disponibili nel mio negozio DaWanda.

Cakes =)

Today I'd like to show you some cakes I have in my Dawanda Shop since months, but I never blogged about.
They're made of fimo (polymer clay),completely handmade without moulds, as always. These cakes have frosting on top! Now I'm able to make frosting too, I'm so proud =)

Oggi vi mostro qualche torta che ho nel mio negozio DaWanda da mesi ma di cui non ho mai parlato qui sul blog.

Sono fatti in fimo, come al solito modellati a mano senza stampi. Queste torte hanno anche la glassa! Ho imparato a farla, e ne sono proprio orgogliosa (anche se non andrebbe detto =P)

I love Polyvore.com : "Retour en Provence"

Retour en Provence by petitefraise

Recently I discovered a new addiction: http://www.polyvore.com/ . This is a great site where you can create styles with collages! So, when I have some spare time, I have fun creating my style!
This one is the second one I made, and I like it so much! I like delicate colors, scents and atmospheres (click on it to see it larger). I called it "Retour en Provence" and in its page I added this note:

"Douce France, cher pays de mon enfance, bercée de tendre insouciance, je t'ai gardée dans mon cœur..."

This is a quotation from a song by Charles Trenet, a French singer my mum loves very much! This song is titled "Douce France".

Next time I'll upload some photos from my trip in Berlin, and very soon I'll show some news from my crafting world.
In the meantime, thank you very much to all my fans and followers, the new and the old ones! Your support, comments and e-mails are very important to me!

Recentemente ho scoperto una nuova "droga": http://www.polyvore.com/ . E' un sito fantastico dove puoi creare il tuo stile attraverso un collage! Così, nei ritagli di tempo mi diverto a pasticciare, accostando vestiti, bijoux, accessori e tanto altro! Quello qua sopra è il secondo collage che ho creato, e mi piace tantissimo! Mi piacciono i colori, le atmosfere e i profumi delicati e ho provato a trasferirli in questo set. Cliccateci sopra per vederlo più in grande! L'ho chiamato "Retour en Provence" e nella sua pagina ho aggiunto questa nota:

E' una citazione da una canzone di Charles Trenet, un cantante francese che piace moltissimo a mia mamma! Questa canzone s'intitola "Douce France".
